Victorian Bustled-Style Ball Gown

The fully lined and lightly boned bodice has a low, square neckline that is edged with a narrow gathering of venice lace, is lavishly overlaid with beaded and sequined appliqués all around and finished at the front with a fan of venice lace, the design of which repeated on the skirt.
It has short, capped sleeves that are edged with a gather of wide Venice lace that drapes over the upper arms and is finished with a beaded fringed trim. The sleeves are also overlaid with the appliqués at the shoulder.
The bodice curves down at the centre front waistline and is edged with beaded fringed trim. It curves up over the hips and drapes elegantly over the skirt at the back. It is decorated at the centre back with beaded and sequined appliques, and laces up the centre back to close
The attached back overskirt gathers up to form a waterfall effect ending in a long train that is finished with fabric pleating and the beaded fringing. The back of this skirt pleats into the inch-wide waist band and it closes with hooks and eyes.
It is made in 100% smooth silk dupion, iridescent dusty pink coloured dress fabric with a synthetic lining. The content of the trims is unknown and professional cleaning is recommended.

This is a brand new, one of a kind, reproduction, iridescent, heathery pink silk (smooth dupion) Victorian bustled style ball gown, with black lace, and beaded and sequined trims.

The fully lined skirt has a decoration towards the hem, at both the front and sides, made in the beaded and sequined appliques over fans of the wide black venice lace.
